An After School Club
The Outdoor Adventure Club (OAC) by Yukon Wild School offers an outdoor learning experience for children at their school. This program is designed to cultivate a deep connection with nature through physical activity. Our mission is to create an enriching and holistic after-school environment that reflects some of the values of Yukon Wild School: respect for nature, physical activity and experiential learning.
We are currently offering programs at:
Hidden Valley Elementary School
2025-2026 Registration Details:
- Saturday, May 3, 2025 @ 09:00 AM
- Choose between 2-day, 3-day and 5-days per week
- The program runs the length of the school year.
- The OAC uses a warming hut in the winter and has access to school bathrooms.
- $25/session
Program Staff
- All staff must have completed an RCMP Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Staff have experience working with children in an outdoor setting and first aid training.
- Outdoor Adventure Club staff are passionate about the outdoors and enthusiastically share this passion with program participants.
- Staff are given risk management training, follow Yukon Wild School protocols, carry first aid kits, bear spray, radios, a cell phone, and parent contact information.
