About March Break Camp
What happens at the WILDE March Break Camp?
WILDE School of Yukon's March Break Camp is all about embracing winter in the great outdoors. Much like our summer camp, March Break Camp programming focuses on experiential learning and outdoor adventure in a natural environment.
Leaders in Training practice their leadership skills and receive valuable feedback throughout.
Goals & Outcomes
The March Break Camp will help your child grow and develop into the best version of themselves, utilizing permacognitive education strategies.
Through a nature-based day camp, leadership roles for LITs, young people grow and make the most of their March break.
Program Description
The themes for the March Break Camp are Winter Ecology, Bushcraft, and Leadership. Campers will learn more about snow science, predator and prey dynamics, animal tracks, build campfires, re-learn knots, teambuild, problem-solve, carve a snow sculpture and more!
When & Where
Time:
- Drop Off: 8:45-9:00 am
- Pick Up: 4:00 - 4:15 pm

WILDE School Yukon campus at 18 Metropolit Lane
Ages:
Campers will be split into 3 groups based on age:
- Pika (Age 4.5-6)
- Martin (Age 7-9)
- Wolverine (Age 10-11)

- Youth leaders: Receive leadership training, feedback and assist in guiding campers through outdoor and experiential activities
