Leader In Training (LIT) Program (12-15 years)
The LIT program is made up of two components: the LIT Training Course and a minimum 3-week commitment of LIT experience with WILD Camp. This program is designed to provide LITs with the skills and experience that they need to succeed and grow as young leaders. Not only are they exposed to extensive skills and professional resources, but they are also allowed to practice and hone these skills while being mentored by leading professionals in the field. This is a great program for youth with an interest in guiding, teaching or working with children.

Monday to Thursday 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
What do I get?
- RCABC Lakewater Leader Certification
- First Aid experience
- Mountain bike instruction training
- Outdoor group leadership training
- Wilderness survival skills (navigation, fire lighting, knot tying, shelters)
- Risk management 101
Cost: $559.00+Tax
LIT Volunteer Experience
Minimum 3-week commitment between June 17 - August 23, 2024
Monday to Friday 8:30 am - 4:15 pm

Multi-destination Information
We acknowledge that we are learning and working on the beautiful Traditional Territory of the Ta'an Kwäch'än Council and the Kwanlin Dün First Nation and are grateful for this opportunity.
Variety is the spice of life and this holds true for summer camp too! Our weekly rotation is built to match camper skills with appropriate terrain/bodies of water. Parents are responsible for dropping off LITs at the destination each day.
